Day -6 and Day -5

Well, there is nothing fun to say about Day -6.  It was day 2 of high intensity chemo, and when they high intenstiy, they are not joking.  I did nothing but sleep and feel nauseated all day yesterday, it really was just awful.  That's Day -6 in a nutshell, not much else to say about it.

Day -5, today, is my day of rest, no chemo and radiation doesn't start until tomorrow.  Today was a much better day, nausea is at a minium and I'm finally able to eat and sit up.  Starting to feel a little cabin fever, it sucks not being able to go outside, especailly on nice days!   But all in all a much better day then yesterday and just about time for me to go take another walk in the hallways.

Sorry this post was so short, but not much to report at the moment.  I do start radiation tomorrow, so I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes.

Later gators!!

  2. Jeannine, Anytime you feel up to walking, do that. Every bit of it is helpful.

As you know, eating is difficult and sleep can even be trying with all the nurse interruptions. Still, walk when you feel like it.

    Thinking of you.
