Well, there's really not much to report on the couple day, it's all pretty uneventful. Yesterday, was my first two rounds of radiation, I basically just lie still in a hospital bed while a bright light that makes a loud pitchy sound shines over my body. The whole process, including travel time to radiology, takes about an hour. No side effects so far.
Day -3, two more rounds of radiation today, still feeling pretty good, maybe a little tired with a bit of a sour stomach, but nothing unbearable. Just two more days of radiation to go until I get my new cells!!
I have been able to get some exercise, I can choose to walk the small L shaped hallway or do a little stationary bike type thing in the little "gym" that we have on the floor. It's not much, but at least it's something.
I did have a litle bit of a rough night last night, just missing my hubby and the girls. Some days are just harder then others. Today has been a better day so far, I'm just trying to stayed focused on that light at the end of my tunnel. I could get to see them as soon as early/mid May, probably closer to mid May, but I'm hopeful. In the meantime, FaceTime will just have to do, it's better than nothing!
That's all I've got for now.
Much Love Everyone!!!
