Plan B

Plan B is in full effect!  The last antigen marker for my brother came in and while it's high, it's workable, I just need to go through a couple weeks of additional treatment to bring the number down.  I had my catheter put in my chest yesterday - thankfully my hubby will be here to take care of me the next two weeks!  Starting Friday, I will begin the desensitization process to ensure my blood and my brothers cells play nice together.  On Friday I need to have one dose of Rituxen, a type of chemo.  Then, next week I will start two weeks, every other day, of IVIG therapy and Plasma Exchange.  Then, assuming the count comes down the way it should, I will be admitted to start the transplant. We need the count to come down to 1000 or less, it is currently at 5800.  My new admit date will be October 9th with my high dose chemo starting on the 10th.
