More awesome news, my cytogenetic tests came back and it showed NO chromosomal abnormalities!! There is currently no sign of the disease in my marrow. The doctors still believe however, that it will come back...it's just a question of when, they think it will be sooner then later, but also said it could be years, could be decades, no one really knows.
It seems kinda awful to think I'm going to be sitting around waiting for this thing to come back and the nightmare to start all over again. But, I'm doing my very best not to just sit around waiting, I'm keeping busy, staying focused on getting healthy, and remaining hopeful that this thing is gone and I really did get the miracle I was hoping for.
For now my blood counts are strong, right where they should be for someone recovering from a transplant. I feel like my old self a little more everyday!
