Days + 20 and +21

Not much new to report.  Still dealing with my spasms, not sure if it's getting better or if I'm just getting used to it.  I guess at least it's not getting any worse...knock on wood.

My WBC is still holding at 0.1.  Again, it's to be expected and still waiting for the upswing, could be any day now.

Today I found out that my liver is a little unhappy at the moment, something about enzymes, the Dr said that it's probably just one of my meds so they are going to try replacing it with something else to try to make my liver happy again, but I'm told its nothing to worry about.

Oh yeah, I get to look forward to another bone marrow biopsy next week!!  Yeah for me. 😞. Oh well, gotta do what I gotta do I guess.  I just really don't want to do it.

Hoping for some more good news in the near future.

Love to all!

  3. Even though you aren't with your kids on Mother's Day, I hope you feel their love and feel how special you are to them and so many others. Happy Mother's Day!

  4. Oh, sometimes, things are so hard. Still, dear Jeaninne, you have your own mother with you. That's a precious gift.

And yes, better days are coming. Engraftment typically comes at 25-30 days after a cord blood transplant and you are just approaching that.

I send you good wishes and hope for sleep, rest and ease.
