I honestly don't remember much about Day 32, I've been so tired, it must be my new little cells working so hard. My WBC did go up again to 1.2!! Yeah me!
Day +33, what a long, long exhausting day. My count went up again to 1.8 and my Dr decided to go ahead and discharge me! So yes I am out of the hospital and chillin with my mama in our apartment. I still have a long recovery road to travel, I still need to be at the outpatient clinic everyday and still need to wait a few more weeks until I can see my babies. I'm almost there, I'm almost there! I can not wait to hug and squeeze and kiss my girls (my hubby too)!!! Grow little cells, grow!!
Love to all of you!
That is so awesome! Yay!
ReplyDeleteHi Jeannine,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being sprung from your 40 day hospital adventure!
Tiredness is expected; your HGB is still pretty low, so low energy. Plus all the rest of what has happened to you in the last weeks.
Crazy, huh?
Your energy will slowly come up, but don't expect your appetite to resume for a while.
But remember this oh-so-pleasant fact: no one to wake you in the middle of the night for your vitals!
Expect anything that reminds you of the hospital to revile you for a while: I was even disgusted by certain colors, or sounds. Weird. Maybe different for you.
Things WILL get easier each few days now.
Anyway happy for you both!
Thanks for your courage to reclaim your life.
What a happy day for you and Rubye and your whole family. The first of many happy days to come. Progress each day to that wonderful trip home. Such terrific news!!! Enjoy your first night as Danny said with NO nursed waking your up!
ReplyDeleteChiilin' is a perfect activity for you and your dear mama! Keep chillin' and let your body to the fighting!!
